Dentures, also known as false teeth, are a prosthetic device to replace missing teeth and there are two types: partial and complete. Partial dentures are made up of one or more artificial teeth held in place by clasps that fit onto nearby natural teeth and they are used for patients who are missing some of their teeth on a particular arch. Complete dentures are used when all the patient’s teeth are missing.
